Jankichatti
Jankichatti (also spelled Yamunotri Chatti) is a remote Himalayan hamlet in Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi district, serving as the final motorable stop before the sacred Yamunotri Temple (5 km trek). Situated at 2,650 meters (8,694 feet), this picturesque village lies along the Yamuna River, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, hot springs, and dense forests.
